Documents required to Pay Income Tax

Pan card is a very important document that would be required for you to pay your income tax. The other forms that would be required are as per the under mentioned.
1. Form 1(for income) and Form BA (for wealth) – 

These are the forms for submitting the annual return of income and wealth applicable to a corporate assessee.

2. Form 2(for income) and Form BA (for wealth) – 
For filing of annual return of income or wealth on satisfying the following conditions.
• The assessee is a noncorporates or a cooperative society.
• There is a prevailing necessity for the accounts to be audited as per the income tax law.

3. Form 3CA and 3CD –
 Used for a corporate assessee, as per Sec 44B to furnish audit report.

4. Form 16 – 
To be used by salaried people as a statement of TDS taken care of by employer.

5. Form 16A – 
It’s the certificate of TDS from insurance commission or amounts which are other than salary.

6. Form 22 – 
Used for filing of return for tax deduction towards contributions made by trustees of an approved superannuation fund.

7. Form 24 – 
For submission of return on salary paid.

8. Form 25 – 
For filing of interest from securities.

9. Form 26, 26A, 26B, 26BB 26C, 26D, 26E, 26F, 26G, 26H and 26J – 
As per Sec 206 of the IT Act, the form 26 is to be used for the submission of the annual return of the dividend and other unit linked incomes received. Form 26A is used for filing of annual return on interest, on assets which are not securities. Form 26B is used for filing for wins from lottery etc; 26BB for wins from horse races; 26C is used for filing on payments that are made to contractors or subcontractors; 26D for filing of insurance commission; 26E is used for filing of Insurance commission paid or credited without having TDS adjusted; 26F This is used for filing of deposits made under National Savings Scheme; 26G used to file of payments made to repurchase mutual funds or UTI units; 26H for filing of commission received on sale of lottery tickets; 26J used for filing the submission towards rent.

10. Form 27, 27EA, 27EB, 27EC, 27ED – 
27 is used for submission of a statement on taxes deducted from interest or other payable amounts to NRI. The rest of the forms are used for the submission of the half yearly return for the TDS collected.

11. Form 3CA, 3CB/3CC and 3CD/ 3CE – 
Used for a non-corporates assessee to furnish the audit report.
