Q-Base : Enabling Value Added Tax (VAT)'@ Tally.ERP 9

To enable VAT, press F11: Features (Statutory & Taxation Features) and ‡       Set Yes to Enable Value Added Tax (VAT) ‡       The VAT classifications are different for each State in India. In order to activate and view the various VAT classifications, set the option Set / Alter VAT details to Yes. ‡                    On activating Set / Alter VAT details the screen appears as shown below:

# In this screen you have to select the State, the type of dealer and specify the date of appli- cability to view theVAT classifications of the required specifications. #                     In F11: Features (Accounting Features), set Maintain Bill-wise details to Yes.
