I can say many things regarding the role of education in National Development but I do not want to explain because today what education we are getting and we are providing, is not education in real sense. It is just business. When we talk about the business, national development will go to dustbin.
So, before talking about the role of education in national development, we have to explain the education in true sense.
1. Is it education, teacher does not teach in classroom and say to come to evening tuition class for starting business without any ethics?
2. Is it education, students do not attend the classroom and say, it is bunk marna in their culture.
3. Is it education, to educate their own children in hi-fi convent school and demand we need govt. service, we need govt. subsidy, we need govt. service wife or husband and we want to educate their children, they forget govt. school because they have the govt. money.
4. Is it education, do not care the footpath children because they are not your own. You did not give the birth. But they live in your same nation, they live in your same state, they live in your same city. Is your education does not make you responsible to educate them.
5. Is it education, to read the newspaper in the classroom because you have more tension of stability of politics of your nation but do not care the worthy time of students?
6. Is it education, to take fees for providing education by giving birth of different projects without seeing the money in the pocket of their parents?
7. Is it education, to take the decision of students pass or fail on some selected questions which can tell a dead machine also without any mistakes.
Human being is super machine who has the limited time on this earth. Student life is its beginning. If teacher will provide him or her true education, only then, student can use his maximum potentiality. So, role of education is to identify the potentiality of each student and motivate each student to use his potentiality. For this, every teacher has to sacrifice. Every teacher has to become role model.
If all the teachers are ready to bring revolution in the Education for national development, I have big idea which I am starting to act upon from tomorrow. You can also use it.
