when I have opened my SBI account, I saw some credit in my account with a new way instead of net banking or cash deposit in my bank account. In detail, it was written. Deposited in your account through GCC by GRC Card. I just go for its detail and I got following information.
Meaning of GCC and GRC Card
GCC means green channel counter. Many banks like SBI has started this counter. On this counter, you just go and swap your card. This card will be special and it will called green remit card. Recently updated, your ATM and Debit Card will work like green remit card. With this, you can transfer your bank money in any other person's bank account if both have same bank branches.
More than 14000 branches of SBI has this small machine who works as green channel counter. Main benefit of this, you need not wait for filling the form and waiting in line for long hours for small payment.
After payment through GCC by GRC Card, my customer sent me the receipt which he got from this small GCC machine.
